This product is part of adidas' Primegreen label. Primegreen consists of a range of high-performance materials, made from recycled components to deliver a more sustainable product.

Midsole

This shoe is equipped with adidas' ultra-light Lightstrike Pro foam. This cushioning material stores more energy than any other cushioning material that adidas has developed to date. It then returns almost all of the energy, so that very little energy is lost. The super-light cushioning ensures next-level speed. Between the foam material, there is a Carbon plate under the heel and EnergyRods under the forefoot that are enriched with carbon. The EnergyRods follow the anatomy of the forefoot. They return a lot of energy and offer flexibility. This allows you to experience a very energetic and reactive push-off. The Carbon plate in the heel absorbs the impact during a heel landing. Thanks to the geometry of the competition shoe, you experience a powerful transition and roll-off, allowing you to run faster with less effort.

Upper

The mesh upper is not only highly breathable, but also provides a comfortable running experience. The upper consists of 50% recycled materials. This is one of the ways adidas is trying to make its products more sustainable.
