Midsole

The Escalante has the Standard FootShape™ fit. This fit gives the foot enough room to move naturally. A slightly harder foam is used in the midsole with good energy return. This foam has been specially developed to offer you the most comfort during your run, regardless of the distance. The Innerflex™ technology has been applied to the foam. This is a grid of slots that cut through the entire midsole, both vertically and horizontally. This reduces weight and dramatically increases the shoe's flexibility without sacrificing cushioning.

Upper

A knitted upper allows the material to stretch in all directions with the foot and provides a high level of breathability.

Outsole
