Midsole

The midsole is made of Energy Foam, a responsive foam made by combining EVA and Olefin (OBC). This is the perfect foam combination for a midsole that needs to be super light, ultra-cushioned and high in energy return. Energy Foam provides consistent comfort, no matter how long your trail run. The ProFeel Film is a flexible protection plate above the outsole, which protects your feet against sharp objects during your trail run and thus acts as a filter between you and the terrain. There is a smooth transition from heel to forefoot during your run due to the Reverse Camber technology. This technology creates a rounded "rocker sole" with a raised toe area. Finally, EndoFit™, an internal sockliner designed to hug the foot in just the right places and provide a precise fit.

Upper

The Ultra Glide has a 3D engineered mesh upper and offers very high breathability and a lot of flexibility. The 3D engineered mesh upper of the shoe is covered by Salomon's SensiFit™ construction, from midsole to the lacing system, and thus provides optimal support and a customized fit around the foot. Finally, the shoes are equipped with the Quicklace lacing system, so your laces will never come loose while running. You also no longer have to worry about laces that can get stuck in branches while running.
