Midsole

This model has a foam specially developed for longer distances. This concerns Salomon's Energy Foam, a responsive foam made by combining EVA and Olefin (OBC). This foam is lightweight and provides enormous cushioning to push you forward with every step you take. During your trail run, ProFeel Film acts as a filter between you and the terrain you are running on. ProFeel Film is a flexible protection plate above the outsole and protects your feet against sharp objects. Many Salomon shoes use Reverse Camber technology, this technology provides a round “rocker sole” where the toe part of the shoe is extra raised. This will give you a smooth transition of your feet while running. The EndoFit™ sockliner is designed to hug the foot in exactly the right places to ensure a perfect fit.

Upper

The ULTRA GLIDE has a 3D engineered mesh upper and offers very high breathability and a lot of flexibility. The 3D engineered mesh upper of the shoe is covered by Salomon's SensiFit™ construction, from midsole to the lacing system, and thus provides optimal support and a customized fit around the foot. Finally, the shoe has the Quicklace lacing system to easily loosen and tighten your laces. This means you no longer have to worry about laces that can get stuck in branches while running.

Outsole
