Midsole

This model has a foam specially developed for longer distances. This concerns Salomon's Energy Foam, a responsive foam made by combining EVA and Olefin (OBC). This foam is lightweight and provides enormous cushioning to push you forward with every step you take. ProFeel Film is a flexible protection plate above the outsole. The plate protects your foot against sharp objects during your trail run and thus acts as a filter between you and the terrain you are running on. There is a smooth transition from heel to forefoot during your run due to the Reverse Camber technology. This technology creates a rounded "rocker sole" with a raised toe area. The EndoFit™ sockliner is designed to hug the foot in exactly the right places to ensure a perfect fit.

Upper

With the 3D engineered mesh upper of the ULTRA GLIDE, the shoe offers a lot of ventilation and ensures enough flexibility. The Sensifit technology on the inside of the shoe encloses the foot. It adapts the forefoot and midfoot support to your feet, so that you experience continuous cushioning and support over long distances. Finally, the shoes are equipped with the Quicklace lacing system, so your laces will never come loose while running. You also no longer have to worry about laces that can get stuck in branches while running.

Outsole
