Salomon Thundercross Men

Midsole

The midsole is made of Energy Foam, a responsive foam made by combining EVA and Olefin (OBC). This is the perfect foam combination for a midsole that needs to be super light, ultra-cushioned and high in energy return. Energy Foam provides consistent comfort, no matter how long your trail run.

Upper

The THUNDERCROSS has an upper specifically designed for trail runners. The upper part of the shoe is covered by Salomon's SensiFit™ construction, from the midsole to the lacing system, and thus provides optimal support and a customized fit around the foot. Furthermore, the anti-debris mesh prevents dirt from getting between your foot and the footbed. Finally, the shoes are equipped with the Quicklace lacing system, so your laces will never come loose while running. You also no longer have to worry about laces that can get stuck in branches while running.

Outsole

To ensure mega-grip, this model has the Contagrip® All Terrain outsole so you can walk on any trail without a doubt. The sole with large Chevron studs offers optimal grip, both on wet, loose surfaces and on dry and hard surfaces. The sole adapts to any surface without sacrificing grip, a real all-rounder.
