Midsole

The midsole is made of Energy Foam, a responsive foam made by combining EVA and Olefin (OBC). This is the perfect foam combination for a midsole that needs to be super light, ultra-cushioned and high in energy return. Energy Foam provides consistent comfort, no matter how long your trail run.

Upper

The Thundercross GTX has an upper that makes you trail-ready. The upper part of the shoe is covered by Salomon's SensiFit™ construction, from the midsole to the lacing system, and thus provides optimal support and a customized fit around the foot. Regardless of the planned adventure, the shoe will be protected against rain and mud by the Gore-Tex® membrane. In addition to Gore-Tex®, the anti-debris mesh gives you the certainty that no dirt will get between your foot and the footbed. Finally, the shoes are equipped with the Quicklace lacing system, so your laces will never come loose while running. Outsole
