Midsole

Fuze Foam has been used in the midsole, a foam made from a soft EVA compound that provides fine cushioning and a high degree of energy return. Finally, the ORTHOLITE™ insole provides soft step-in comfort and long-lasting cushioning. The sole consists of open cells, which makes the sole breathable and ensures that your feet stay cool.

Upper

The SUPERCROSS GTX has an upper specifically designed for trail runners. The upper part of the shoe is covered by Salomon's SensiFit™ construction, from the midsole to the lacing system, and thus provides optimal support and a customized fit around the foot. Sweat vapor will have the chance to escape, but from rain the shoe is protected by the Gore-Tex® membrane. In addition to Gore-Tex®, the ripstop weaving technique is used to make the upper material of the shoe strong and tear-resistant. Finally, the shoes are equipped with the Quicklace lacing system, so your laces will never come loose while running. You also no longer have to worry about laces that can get stuck in branches while running.

Outsole

The Contagrip® Mud outsole is specially designed for effortless running on wet surfaces. The sole material is soft to provide maximum grip on muddy and slippery surfaces. The sole features Chevron studs that allow it to settle deep into soft ground. The large spaces between the studs ensure that mud disappears quickly.
