Salomon Speedcross 6 GTX Men

Midsole

During longer trail runs, you can comfortably cover miles with the EnergyCell™+ foam, a soft foam that provides a lot of energy return due to the good cushioning that the shoe offers.

Upper

The Speedcross 6 GTX has an upper that makes you trail-ready. The upper of the shoe is wrapped in Salomon's SensiFit™ construction from midsole to lacing system, ensuring optimal support and a custom fit around the foot. The Speedcross 6 GTX is breathable and waterproof thanks to the Gore-Tex® upper. No matter the planned adventure, the shoe will be protected from rain and mud thanks to the Gore-Tex® upper. The upper with anti-debris mesh prevents dirt from getting between your foot and the footbed. The ripstop weaving technique is used to make the upper of the shoe strong and tear-resistant. The bottom of the heel is reinforced while the top of the heel cap remains flexible, soft and comfortable. The advantage of this is that it does not create pressure on your heel bone. Finally, the shoe has the Quicklace lacing system to easily loosen and tighten your laces. This means you no longer have to worry about laces getting caught in branches while running.

Outsole

The Contagrip® Mud outsole is specially designed to run effortlessly on wet surfaces. The material of the sole is soft to provide maximum grip on muddy and slippery surfaces. The sole has Chevron studs that make it possible to settle deep into soft ground. The large spaces between the studs ensure that mud disappears quickly.
