The Salomon SPEEDCROSS 6 GTX is a technical trail shoe that is suitable for challenging trail routes. Midsole

During longer trail runs you can comfortably cover kilometers with the EnergyCell+™ foam, a soft foam that provides a lot of energy return due to the good cushioning that the shoe offers.

Upper

With the upper of the SPEEDCROSS GTX you are ready for your next trail adventure. The upper of the shoe is covered by Salomon's SensiFit™ construction, from the midsole to the lacing system, and thus provides optimal support and a customized fit around the foot. The shoe also features a Gore-Tex® upper, keeping the shoe dry and mud-resistant regardless of weather conditions. In addition to Gore-Tex®, the anti-debris mesh prevents dirt from getting between your foot and the footbed. The ripstop weaving technique is used to make the shoe's upper material strong and tear-resistant. With this shoe, the bottom of the heel is reinforced while the top is flexible, soft and comfortable. This will not put pressure on your heel bone. Finally, the shoes are equipped with the Quicklace lacing system, so your laces will never come loose while running. You also no longer have to worry about laces that can get stuck in branches while running.

Outsole

The Contagrip® Mud outsole offers maximum grip for the most slippery and muddy surfaces. This outsole has a slightly softer material to provide maximum grip on muddy and slippery surfaces. The sole features Chevron studs that allow it to settle deep into soft ground. The large spaces between the studs ensure that mud disappears quickly.
