Midsole

The midsole is made of Energy Foam, a responsive foam made by combining EVA and Olefin (OBC). This is the perfect foam combination for a midsole that needs to be super light, ultra-cushioned and high in energy return. Energy Foam offers constant comfort, no matter how long your trail run is. During your trail run, ProFeel Film acts as a filter between you and the terrain you are running on. ProFeel Film is a flexible protection plate above the outsole and protects your feet from sharp objects.

Upper

With the upper of the Sense Ride 5 you are ready for your next trail adventure. The upper of the shoe is wrapped from midsole to lacing system by Salomon's SensiFit™ construction, ensuring optimal support and a custom fit around the foot. The upper is light, flexible and durable and is equipped with 3D Mesh for optimal foot support. Finally, the shoe has the Quicklace lacing system to easily loosen and tighten your laces. This means you no longer have to worry about laces getting caught in branches while running.

Outsole
