Midsole

The midsole is made of Energy Foam, a responsive foam made by combining EVA and Olefin (OBC). This is the perfect foam combination for a midsole that needs to be super light, ultra-cushioned and high in energy return. Energy Foam provides consistent comfort, no matter how long your trail run. The shoe also has an Energy Blade, which is a lightweight TPU plate that is placed in the midsole. This gives you a push in the back while walking. The plate provides extra speed, smooth take-off and a balanced transition from heel to forefoot. While running you will have a smooth transition from heel to forefoot, thanks to the Reverse Camber technology. Many Salomon shoes use Reverse Camber technology, this technology provides a round “rocker sole” where the toe part of the shoe is extra raised.
