Midsole

This model features a foam specifically developed for longer distances. It's Salomon's Energy Foam, a responsive foam made by combining EVA and Olefin (OBC). This lightweight foam provides exceptional cushioning, propelling you forward with every step. The 3D Advanced Chassis is located between the outsole and midsole. This sturdy chassis offers extra protection for the underfoot and ensures a more stable stride. The chassis provides a stable base for the foot, which is especially important when moving on uneven terrain in nature. It helps stabilize the foot and reduces the risk of sprains or injuries.

Upper

The Genesis has an upper that makes you trail-ready. It's made of breathable Matryx® mesh reinforced with aramid fibers, ensuring an excellent fit. The toe box is reinforced for added protection against impacts and sharp objects. The EVA sockliner offers a flexible fit and extra support where you need it. To ensure no debris gets into your shoe, the shoe features an integrated sock. The sock offers extra protection and the added benefits of being comfortable and providing a better fit.
