Midsole

The midsole is made of Energy Foam, a responsive foam made by combining EVA and Olefin (OBC). This is the perfect foam combination for a midsole that needs to be super light, ultra-cushioned and high in energy return. Energy Foam offers constant comfort, no matter how long your trail run is. The 3D Advanced Chassis is a sturdy frame that sits between the midsole and the outsole. The frame protects the underfoot, optimizes your motion control and thus ensures a more stable running gait. The frame provides a stable base for the foot, which is especially important when moving on uneven terrain in nature. It helps stabilize the foot and reduces the chance of sprains or injuries.

Upper

With the upper of the Genesis you are ready for your next trail adventure. The upper consists of breathable Matryx® mesh reinforced with aramid fibers, Matryx® completely envelops your foot for a personalized fit. The toe area is reinforced to provide extra protection against impacts and sharp objects. The EVA sockliner offers extra support where needed and ensures a flexible fit. To ensure that no debris gets into your shoe, the shoe has an integrated sock. The sock offers extra protection and has the additional benefits of being comfortable and ensures a better fit. Finally, the shoes are equipped with the Quicklace lacing system, so that your laces will never come loose while running. You will also no longer be bothered by laces that can get caught in branches while running.

Outsole

To ensure mega-grip, this model has the Contagrip® All Terrain outsole to walk every trail without any doubt. The sole offers optimal grip, both on wet, loose surfaces and on dry and hard surfaces.
