Midsole

This model has a foam specially developed for longer distances. This concerns Salomon's Energy Foam, a responsive foam made by combining EVA and Olefin (OBC). This foam is lightweight and provides enormous cushioning to push you forward with every step you take. The 3D Advanced Chassis is located between the outsole and midsole. This sturdy frame offers extra protection to the underfoot and ensures a more stable walking gait. The frame provides a stable base for the foot, which is especially important when moving on uneven terrain in nature. It helps stabilize the foot and reduces the risk of sprains or injuries.

Upper

The DRX Defy Grvl has an engineered mesh upper and offers very high breathability and a lot of flexibility. The engineered mesh upper of the shoe is covered by Salomon's SensiFit™ construction, from midsole to the lacing system, and thus provides optimal support and a customized fit around the foot.

Wear sole
