Midsole

This model has a foam specially developed for longer distances. This concerns Salomon's Energy Foam, a responsive foam made by combining EVA and Olefin (OBC). This foam is lightweight and provides enormous cushioning to push you forward with every step you take. The 3D Advanced Chassis is a sturdy frame that is located between the midsole and outsole. The frame protects the lower foot, optimizes your movement control and ensures a more stable walking gait. The frame provides a stable base for the foot, which is especially important when moving on uneven terrain in nature. It helps stabilize the foot and reduces the risk of sprains or injuries.

Upper

The DRX Bliss has an engineered mesh upper and offers very high breathability and a lot of flexibility. The SensiFit technology on the inside of the shoe encloses the foot. It adapts the forefoot and midfoot support to your feet, so that you experience continuous cushioning and support over long distances. The pleated tongue of this shoe is connected to the upper on both sides, preventing dirt from entering the shoe and keeping the tongue centered.

Outsole

Developed for maximum efficiency on the road, the Contagrip® Road outsole excels on flat, compact surfaces such as asphalt.
