On Cloudultra 2 Women

The On Cloudultra 2 is a trail shoe specifically designed for long distance running. If you run ultra distances, 50 km or more, you need a trail shoe that offers continuous cushioning. The shoe for your most challenging adventures!

Midsole

The midsole consists of two layers of Helion foam and provides fine cushioning while running. Helion foam gives a soft running feeling and reduces the pressure on the joints. The foam is combined with the unique CloudTec® technology. CloudTec® are the 'clouds' that absorb shocks both horizontally and vertically and therefore make your landing extra soft. As soon as your feet have hit the ground, the Clouds stay firmly in place so that you can continue with a powerful push-off. In addition, the midsole contains the characteristic Speedboard®, a plastic plate that bends while running and provides a responsive feeling when pushing off.

Upper

The upper of the Cloudultra 2 consists of two layers of mesh for extra strength and increased durability. The double-layer upper makes the shoe extra strong and can withstand a beating. The upper also consists of recycled materials. In this way, On is trying to make its products increasingly sustainable. The upper has a knitted sock construction for optimal wearing comfort and extra strength for the feet.

Outsole

The Missiongrip™ outsole features multi-directional patterns for excellent grip. Missiongrip™ offers great grip thanks to the square studs in the heel and forefoot, as well as multi-angled studs in the shaft and toes. The Missiongrip™ rubber has a 'sticky' property, which means it sticks to the surface you are walking on. Not literally, but it does give you the feeling of great grip and traction.
