On Cloudultra 2 Women

The On Cloudultra 2 is a trail shoe specifically designed for long-distance running. If you run ultra distances, 50 km or more, you need a trail shoe that offers continuous cushioning. Adventure awaits with this trail shoe, ready to accompany you on rough surfaces!

Midsole

The two layers of Helion foam in the midsole provide a lot of cushioning. This gives a soft walking feeling and reduces pressure on the joints. Combined with CloudTec® technology, it provides an extra dimension of soft cushioning and seamless weight transfer for extra comfort. This is possible because the Cloud elements collapse diagonally as you walk. In this model, the Clouds are connected to each other to keep stones out of the midsole. The Cloudultra also has a custom Speedboard®, created to maximize the 'rolling' feeling to make your run as comfortable as possible. The Speedboard® made of plastic also gives you extra protection against sharp objects.

Upper

The upper of the Cloudultra consists of two layers of mesh for extra strength and greater durability. The double-layer upper makes the shoe extra strong and can withstand a blow. Furthermore, the shoe has a knitted sock construction made of 100% recycled polyester that serves as a second skin and makes it easier to step in. The sock construction has the additional advantage of keeping debris out of the shoes because the construction encloses the entire foot. To reduce swelling, the FlipRelease at the top of the shoe can be unfolded to relieve pressure on the midfoot and forefoot. The shoe has an upper consisting of two layers of mesh. The double-layer upper makes the shoe extra strong and can withstand a blow.

Outsole

The Missiongrip™ outsole features multi-directional patterns for very good grip. Missiongrip™ offers a lot of grip thanks to the square studs in the heel and forefoot, as well as multi-angled studs in the shaft and toes. The Missiongrip™ rubber has a 'sticky' property, which makes it stick to the surface you walk on. Not literally, but it does give you the feeling of a lot of grip and traction.
