On Cloudultra 2 Men

The On Cloudultra 2 is specially designed for running long distances. When running 50km or more, you want trail shoes that provide continuous targeted cushioning. Adventure awaits with this trail shoe, ready to accompany you on rough surfaces!

Midsole

The midsole consists of two-layer Helion foam and provides nice cushioning while running. Helion foam provides a soft walking feeling and reduces pressure on the joints. The 'clouds' in the midsole absorb the impact during landing and provide extra energy for the next step. Normally the Clouds in On running shoes move separately from each other, in this trail shoe the Clouds are connected to each other to keep stones out of the midsole. The Cloudultra also has a custom Speedboard®, designed to maximize the 'rolling' feeling to make your run as comfortable as possible. The Speedboard® is made of plastic and also has a protective function, it protects you against sharp objects during your trail through nature.

Upper

The upper of the Cloudultra consists of two layers of mesh for extra strength and greater durability. The double-layer upper makes the shoe extra strong and can withstand a blow. Furthermore, the shoe has a knitted sock construction made of 100% recycled polyester that serves as a second skin and makes it easier to step in. The sock construction has the additional advantage of keeping debris out of the shoes because the construction encloses the entire foot. A FlipRelease structure at the top of the shoe relieves pressure on the mid- and forefoot and reduces swelling. The upper is made of two layers of mesh. This double layer makes the shoe extra durable.

Outsole

The Missiongrip™ outsole is designed to help you run with confidence on varying trails. The Missiongrip™ outsole features multi-directional patterns for very good grip. The Missiongrip™ rubber has a 'sticky' property, which makes it stick to the surface you walk on. This is not literal, but it does provide a lot of grip and traction.
