Midsole

The Cloudboom Echo 3 has the updated Helion™ X1 superfoam. Even as your run gets tougher, Helion™ X1 superfoam provides high levels of energy return so you can keep running at speed. The implemented carbon plate will give your running experience a speed boost and provide extra stability. This full-length plate propels you forward and lengthens your stride. The carbon plate of the shoe has a curved construction (rocker shape), so that you feel more foam on the forefoot. Because the carbon shoe is pointed upwards in the toe, your foot will automatically roll off. This results in a smooth transition from heel to forefoot. Finally, the signature CloudTec® technology has been used. The cloud elements that you see in the sole fold together diagonally while you run, this creates nice cushioning and an energetic push-off.

Upper

The upper of this model is made of microfibers, which provides ventilation to keep your feet cool. As a second advantage, this material will absorb less water to keep your feet dry, so you can always run comfortably. Finally, the upper is completed with a knitted tongue. The tongue provides a firm locked-in feeling for your feet.

Outsole

With a rubber outsole, the shoe provides good grip and traction while running. The grippy rubber compound around the outsole has been developed with an improved traction pattern, for more grip during your run.
