The Nike Zoom Fly 5 is a neutral running shoe for both training days and competitions. The shoes offer you comfort and reliability, but at the same time give you a springy and fast feeling.

The upper is made of lightweight, breathable mesh that perfectly encloses your foot and feels soft. Four individual pieces of fabric are placed in the midfoot and integrated with the laces. When you pull the laces tight, the fit becomes tighter and you experience a firmer feeling.

The newly added ZoomX foam in the midsole makes the shoe feel lighter and more responsive. The shape of the foam offers you support for the three phases of settlement during your run. Flexibility when your foot lifts off the ground, a smooth feel when your foot moves forward, and cushioning when your foot hits the ground. The midsole also contains a carbon fiber plate, also known as a Carbon Fiber plate. This plate works like a kind of spring. It propels you forward as you run and contributes to the highly responsive feel of the competition shoes.
The base is slightly wider in the forefoot and heel, which provides more stability so you can confidently make turns and long distances. The rubber outsole provides extra grip and sturdiness.
