Midsole

The midsole of this shoe is made of React foam. For this foam, Nike combined different polymers: thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA). The Nike React foam provides a lot of cushioning and is very responsive due to this unique combination. Nike uses this foam specifically to reduce the risk of running-related injuries. The Nike React foam is therefore one of the most complete foams from Nike. The dual-density midsole (firm foam on the outside and soft foam on the inside) provides responsive cushioning for long-lasting comfort. The midsole is also made of sustainable materials.

Upper

The upper is made of Nike Flyknit. This is made of strong, but light yarns that are woven into one whole. Around the midfoot the material is more densely woven to provide support, while at the forefoot the material is made flexible and ventilated. Thanks to the FlyEase technology, the shoe is extremely easy to put on and take off. You can open the shoe with a zipper on the heel and a strap over the top ensures a snug fit. Light textiles provide ventilation to keep you cool. The heel overlay provides support and stability during multi-directional twists.
