Midsole

The shoe is equipped with ZoomX foam, Nike's lightest foam with the highest energy return. By widening the sole, Nike can add even more foam while creating a stable base. The ZoomX midsole effectively absorbs vibrations while running, reducing the impact on your muscles. In addition, you run more confidently at a higher pace because you get a lot of energy back with every step. There are two visible Zoom Air Units under the forefoot. Underneath the Zoom Air Units is a layer of ZoomX foam for extra energy return. Zoom Air Units are filled with air pressure, which makes them feel light while running. In addition to ZoomX foam and Zoom Air Units, there is a Flyplate to give the shoe extra stability and forward movement.

Upper

The AtomKnit 2.0 upper is part of the Flyknit series. Nike Flyknit is made of strong, but light yarns that are woven into one whole. Around the midfoot the material is more densely woven to provide support, while at the forefoot the material is made flexible and ventilated. The only difference is that the material of the AtomKnit 2.0 is even thinner to save extra weight.
