New Balance Fresh Foam X Vongo v5 Men

The New Balance Fresh Foam Vongo v5 are antipronation shoes. This running shoe is also seen as the supportive version of the New Balance 1080. The Vongo v5 is aimed at the runner with an average to slightly heavier build who needs support and is looking for a lot of cushioning and comfort.

This fifth edition of the Vongo has received an update to the cushioning, upper and outsole. The Vongo V5 now has the new Fresh FoamX material which provides more cushioning than the predecessor. In addition, the heel counter has become firmer and in combination with the Hypoknit upper it gives a nice fit.

The Fresh FoamX midsole over the entire length of the shoe provides constant cushioning during your run. Under the arch of the foot, the Vongo v5 is provided with a somewhat harder Fresh Foam material that is more difficult to press. This support is barely noticeable, but it does prevent overpronation.

The outsole of the Vongo v5 consists of different zones. For example, the heel section is provided with the most wear-resistant rubber that is shaped like a horseshoe to cushion you well when landing.
