The New Balance Fresh Foam Hierro v7 are neutral trail shoes. The Hierro is a trail shoe that provides plenty of cushioning, which is ideal for longer trail runs up to the marathon distance. This trail shoe meets the GreenLeaf standard of New Balance. This means that the Hierro v7 consists of 50% or more environmentally friendly materials.
The upper is made of lightweight, breathable material and is equipped with extra protection in the areas where it is needed. So you are protected on all terrains.
The Hierro v7 has a midsole made of Fresh Foam X cushioning. This midsole is also used in the New Balance 1080, the well-known road running shoe. Fresh Foam X provides a comfortable and soft cushioning so that you can run many kilometres effortlessly.
The Vibram-Megagrip wear sole provides good grip in both dry and wet conditions. The sole is wider at the heel and forefoot for a stable base on uneven ground. The toe area of the upper is reinforced for protection against branches and stones.
