Midsole

The shoe with the Fresh Foam X midsole provides ultra-cushioning during your run and gives a responsive feeling underfoot. The midsole has a double density and consists of two Fresh Foam X-foam materials. It provides the midsole with plenty of cushioning for your heel and forefoot, while also providing crucial arch support. It contains a firm Fresh Foam X block in the middle of the shoe to prevent pronation. To correct overpronation, special embroidery has been applied to the medial side of the shoe that provides you with support when you roll a little more over the inside of your foot. This is extra pleasant when you get tired and start moving more inwardly.

Upper

Engineered Mesh makes the Fresh Foam X 860 ventilated and provides support in strategic places around the midfoot. The upper is seamless, giving it a modern look and a nice lockdown feeling, which provides extra structure and support to the foot. The New Balance logo has reflective details to stand out while running, even on dark days. The pleated tongue of this shoe is attached to the upper on both sides, so that no dirt can enter the shoe and the tongue remains centered. Finally, the adjustable lacing ensures a perfect fit.
