The New Balance Fresh Foam X 1080v12 are neutral running shoes. A combination of top-of-the-line performance technology and broad accessibility offers comfort to runners at every level. In the 1080v12, the cushioning is refined, the weight is slightly lighter and the shoe is flexible.

In the upper, we see the Hypoknit that we first saw in the 1080v11. The upper is breathable and stretchy. The large "N" logo provides support for the middle part of the foot. The 1080v12 still features a full bootie construction. Together with the preformed heel cap, the UltraHeel with memory foam, this ensures an optimal fit.

The Fresh Foam 1080v12 contains a Fresh Foam X midsole. This renewed Fresh Foam material feels lighter and softer, while it gives more energy back during the run. The midsole provides support through strategically placed elements.

The outsole is equipped with Endurance rubber. This material is highly abrasion-resistant and is processed under the parts of the foot that are mostly exposed to impact. Under the midfoot, EVA material with strategically placed grooves is used. This material is flexible and provides grip and an easy stride. Under the forefoot is the Blown Rubber material, which provides more grip and we already know from the other 1080 shoes. The outsole is slightly curved and moves with the foot as it moves.
