Midsole

The Wave Rider GTX has Enerzy foam in the midsole to guarantee good propulsion. The material of this foam provides perfect softness and a responsive feel. The midsole contains the well-known Wave Plate, which is a plastic plate in the shape of a wave. This wave shape ensures a stable landing and more resilience during take-off. The Wave Plate is slightly reinforced on the inside. When walking, this gives a slightly more stable feeling when tired.

Upper

The mesh upper of Wave Rider GTX keeps the shoe breathable and comfortable. The shoe also features a Gore-Tex® upper, keeping rain, mud and debris out during any adventure.

Outsole

The shoe has Wgrip rubber for superior grip on both dry and wet surfaces. In addition to great grip, the outsole provides traction and is a very durable sole.
