Mizuno Wave Rider GTX 3 Women

Midsole

The top layer of the midsole consists of the Mizuno Enerzy cushioning material. This cushioning is known for its soft and responsive properties. The bottom layer is the new Mizuno Enerzy NXT foam. This cushioning is somewhat softer, which also makes the landing feel more pleasant. The Wave technology of this model provides stability and a spring effect. The technology consists of two EVA foams that are placed on top of each other in a wavy manner. With every step you take, the landing will be partly absorbed and a spring effect will follow due to the wavy foams. The well-known Wave Plate, which is a plastic plate in the shape of a wave, is located in the midsole. This wave shape ensures a stable landing and more resilience during the push-off. The Wave Plate is slightly reinforced on the inside. When walking, this gives a slightly more stable feeling when tired.

Upper

The airmesh upper allows sweat to easily escape, so your feet are always dry and comfortable. The Gore-Tex® version of the Wave Rider GTX 3 is also waterproof from the outside. Finally, the shoe has a comfortable insole that is removable.

Outsole

This outsole combines the abrasion-resistant X10 rubber with the grippy Wgrip material for long-lasting performance. X10 offers reinforcement in the most stressed areas, such as the heel, while Wgrip ensures reliable grip on both wet and dry surfaces.
