    Midsole

The Wave Rider 27 has an Enerzy midsole. This foam allows you as a runner to experience more cushioning and energy return. Thanks to the Enerzy foam, you enjoy improved flexibility and stability, which is combined with resilient propulsion. This foam is 15% more resilient than standard EVA foam used in many other running shoes. A Wave plate has also been placed in the midsole, which is a plastic plate that is part of the Wave technology. The plate is wavy and ensures a stable landing and extra resilience during take-off. Finally, the shoe has a comfortable insole that is removable.

    Upper

This shoe is very breathable thanks to the mesh upper. The upper consists of 90% recycled materials. In this way, among other things, Mizuno tries to make its products more and more sustainable.

    Outsole

This model has an X10 outsole that is designed to be extremely durable and therefore long lasting. The X10 outsole is made of carbon and provides extra support in strategic places. There is extra support at the heel to increase traction. While running you will experience good grip, even when the paths are slippery. Finally, Blown Rubber has been added and this provides a thicker sole with more ground contact and grip. This allows you to continue running with confidence on wet surfaces. Run at your own pace on the Mizuno Wave Rider 27 and push your limits!
