Midsole

With a midsole consisting of three foams, the Wave Neo Ultra provides a cushioning shoe with a lot of energy return. Mizuno has placed its softest and most resilient foam in the core of the midsole: Mizuno Enerzy Core. When running at pace, Enerzy Core will give you a boost with the bouncy feeling at the push-off. In addition to this foam, the shoe also has the foams: Enerzy and Enerzy Lite. Enerzy Lite is made from plant-based materials and provides extra cushioning. A Mizuno Wave structure was chosen for the heel and midfoot, in which two different EVA foam materials with different hardness are placed on top of each other. This provides better stability without sacrificing cushioning. With every step you take, the landing will be partly cushioned and a spring effect will follow through the wavy foams.

Upper
