This midsole contains a carbon plate. We know this technology from premium competition shoes. Adding this plate to the trail shoes gives the shoes a springy feeling. This makes it easy to pace yourself during your trail run. HOKA has added PROFLY-X™ to make your runs as comfortable as possible. PROFLY-X™ provides a cushioned landing and a responsive take-off, leading to a uniquely soft yet snappy running feeling. The PROFLY-X™ midsole combines light, responsive foam with ultra-soft foam underfoot to create a responsive and lightweight midsole. Because the transition zone is placed behind the metatarsals, the Early stage Meta-Rocker geometry contributes to a quick transition of the feet.
