Midsole

This model has a carbon plate to provide extra resilience to the trail shoe, making it easier to increase your pace during your trail run. To make your runs as comfortable as possible, HOKA has added PROFLY-X™. The PROFLY-X™ midsole provides a cushioned landing and a responsive push-off, giving you a uniquely soft yet snappy running feeling. PROFLY-X™ is a light, responsive midsole with an ultra-soft layer under the foot. Because the transition zone is placed behind the metatarsals, the Early stage Meta-Rocker geometry contributes to a quick transition of the feet. With a smoother stride and a faster transition to the forefoot, you will feel more explosive.

Upper

The Tecton consists of an upper made of breathable Matryx® mesh that is reinforced with aramid fibers. This ensures an excellent fit and gives you the comfort you need during your run!

Outsole

The shoe has a Vibram® LiteBase Megagrip outsole with Traction Lug and therefore gives you the best of both worlds. The outsole is made of a high-quality rubber compound, which has unparalleled grip properties on wet and dry surfaces. In addition, the outsole is extremely durable. The Traction Lug technology maintains grip, traction and durability while reducing sole thickness by 50% and weight by 30% through the use of Litebase technology.
