Midsole

To make your runs as comfortable as possible, HOKA has added a CMEVA midsole. The CMEVA midsole has enormous cushioning and provides effective protection during your runs, whatever type of run it is. The material is therefore very reactive and provides a lot of comfort. The Late Stage Meta-Rocker geometry supports the forefoot a lot more, as the transition zone is placed in front of the metatarsals. This provides more stability to the forefoot, which contributes to a pleasant feeling when walking. The EVA insole provides extra support where necessary and ensures a flexible fit.

Upper

This shoe is highly breathable thanks to its jacquard mesh upper, which features textured yarns that allow sweat to escape and keep the inside dry. Because the mesh follows every step of the foot, it provides comfort and support. Sweat vapor will have the chance to escape, but from rain the shoe is protected by the Gore-Tex® membrane. Finally, the toe area is reinforced to provide extra protection against bumps and sharp objects. The bottom of the heel is reinforced while the top of the heel counter remains flexible, soft and comfortable. The advantage of this is that it does not create pressure on your heel bone.

Outsole

To ensure mega-grip, this model has the Vibram® Megagrip outsole so you can walk on any trail without a doubt. The sole offers optimal grip, both on wet, loose surfaces and on dry and hard surfaces. Vibram® Megagrip has strategically placed studs to provide good traction, and each stud also has small dots on the side to provide extra traction on unpaved paths.
