The HOKA Rincon 3 are neutral running shoes. This third version of the Rincon is a lightweight training shoe for running longer distances. The Engineered Mesh upper offers good breathability and is very lightweight. That is generally typical of the Rincon. The lightweight material also makes the shoes well suited for running faster paces. The tongue is lightweight and asymmetrical. The loop on the heel has been taken over to the Rincon 3. This loop increases ease of entry.
The midsole and outsole have remained the same as those of the previous edition. The EVA midsole offers good cushioning without weighing down the running shoes. The Early Stage Meta Rocker technology provides a smooth transition from midfoot to forefoot. The outsole consists of strategically placed rubber parts. Because of these rubber parts, there is no need to use a wear sole over the entire length. This keeps the weight low. The EVA material is very durable and long lasting. The Flex Grooves in the forefoot provide flexibility and traction.
