Midsole

The Mach X 2 features a Supercritical EVA & PEBA Superfoam midsole, a construction in which HOKA combines two foam layers: a lightweight, stable EVA base and an ultra-resilient PEBA top layer. Both are Supercritical treated for optimal cushioning, energy return, and durability — perfect for runners seeking comfort and speed. Because the transition zone is positioned behind the metatarsals, the Early Stage Meta-Rocker geometry contributes to a quick foot transition. Upper

Designed with a knitted upper, the shoe is seamless and stretches with your foot. The knitted upper is highly breathable, keeping your feet cool during every run. The EVA insole offers extra support where needed and ensures a flexible fit. In this shoe, the bottom of the heel is reinforced, while the upper is flexible, soft, and comfortable. This prevents pressure on your heel bone. To keep the tongue centered and prevent dirt from entering the shoe, a pleated tongue is connected to both sides of the upper.
