Midsole

The CMEVA midsole provides excellent cushioning and protection during your runs, regardless of the type of run. The CMEVA material is reactive and provides a high degree of comfort. Because the transition zone is placed in front of the metatarsals, the Late Stage Meta-Rocker geometry provides much more support to the forefoot, resulting in extra stability and a more pleasant walking experience. Finally, J-Frame™ midsole support has been added to the shoe. This means you are always equipped with extra stability and guidance at your feet during your long training sessions! In addition to the J-frame, a wider, more stable H-frame has been added to the Gaviota.

Upper

The upper is made of technical knitted mesh. The breathability of the upper keeps your feet comfortable. The upper also consists partly of recycled materials. In this way, among other things, HOKA tries to make its products more and more sustainable. Reinforcement has been added to the bottom of the heel counter, while the top remains flexible, soft and comfortable, so that your heel bone does not come under pressure.

Outsole

The outsole is made of Zonal rubber and has a coarse profile for great grip on any type of surface. Zones of abrasion-resistant rubber have been added to the heel and forefoot for improved durability. The HOKA Gaviota 5, the all-rounder you can count on every run!
