HOKA Gaviota 5 Men

Midsole

To make your runs as comfortable as possible, HOKA has added a CMEVA midsole. The CMEVA midsole has enormous cushioning and provides effective protection during your runs, whatever type of run it is. The material is therefore very reactive and provides a lot of comfort. The Late Stage Meta-Rocker geometry supports the forefoot a lot more, as the transition zone is placed in front of the metatarsals. This provides more stability to the forefoot, which contributes to a pleasant feeling when walking. In combination with the J-Frame™ midsole support, which has been added to the shoe, you are always equipped with extra stability and guidance at your feet during your long training sessions! The H-frame of the Gaviota has been refined together with the J-frame.

Upper

The Engineered Mesh upper provides flexibility and breathability in strategic places, while in other places the shoe is a bit tighter. The shoe is a bit tighter around the midfoot for a secure and supportive feeling.

Wear sole

The outsole is made of durabrasion rubber and has a coarse profile for great grip on any type of surface. Zones of abrasion-resistant rubber have been added to the heel and forefoot for improved durability. The geometry of the outsole is designed to ensure inherent stability and an efficient stride.
