Midsole

The Divide 4 has Brooks' DNA LOFT v2 foam in the midsole. The foam is lightweight due to the right balance between the amount of rubber and air in the foam. The foam has Brooks' DNA technology, where the foam adapts to your running style. This means the shoe has a cushioning foam that ensures a smooth transition from heel to toe.

Upper

With the Divide upper you'll be ready for your next trail adventure. The mesh upper is comfortable and has the additional advantage that it has a ventilating function. The reinforcement at the toes protects your feet against bumps and sharp obstacles. In addition to the extra protection at the toes, the upper also has a transparent mudguard to keep your feet cool and dry. Reinforcement has been added to the bottom of the heel counter, while the top remains flexible, soft and comfortable, so that your heel bone does not come under pressure. To keep the tongue centered and prevent dirt from entering the shoe, a pleated tongue is connected to both sides of the upper. The upper is made of mesh and makes the Divide very breathable and provides a comfortable feeling while running. Outsole

Brooks has developed the TrailTack outsole for good grip during your trail run. This outsole technology from Brooks provides excellent traction when going uphill or downhill. The TrailTrack rubber in the outsole gives you optimal grip on both dry and wet terrain. The Segmented Crash Pad, which is integrated into the outsole, provides shock absorption.
