Midsole

The Cascadia 18 has the DNA LOFT v2 foam, the foam that adapts to your running style. The foam is extremely light and Brooks has found the right balance between the right amount of air and rubber in the foam. The result is a responsive foam with good cushioning that ensures a smooth transition from heel to toe. Trail Adapt System is the advanced system of the Cascadia 18 and ensures that all elements of the sole work together. The sole consists of three elements that together provide enormous control and stability. The system allows the following three elements to work together: the integrated DNA LOFT v2 foam, a protective and propulsive rock plate placed between two layers of DNA LOFT v2 and an advanced outsole system. The Trail Adapt System provides extra control while running and creates a mix of improved propulsion and protection.

Upper

With the Cascadia upper you'll be ready for your next trail adventure. The upper has a mesh upper that has a ventilating function and provides an attractive appearance. The Toe Protector provides protection against bumps and sharp obstacles. In addition to the extra protection at the toes, the upper also has a transparent mudguard to keep your feet cool and dry. Wear sole

The outsole has Green Rubber and is produced on a sustainable basis, consists of 25% recycled materials and is wear-resistant, making the sole extra durable.
