Midsole

The Cascadia 18 GTX has the DNA LOFT v2 foam, the foam that adapts to your running style. The foam is extremely light and Brooks has found the right balance between the right amount of air and rubber in the foam. The result is a responsive foam with good cushioning that ensures a smooth transition from heel to toe. Trail Adapt System is the advanced system of the Cascadia 18 GTX and ensures that all elements of the sole work together. The sole consists of three elements that together provide enormous control and stability. The system allows the following three elements to work together: the integrated DNA LOFT v2 foam, a protective and propulsive rock plate placed between two layers of DNA LOFT v2 and an advanced outsole system. The Trail Adapt System provides extra control while running and creates a mix of improved propulsion and protection.

Upper

The Cascadia has an upper that makes you trail-ready. The mesh upper is comfortable and has the additional advantage that it has a ventilating function. The toe part of the shoe is extra reinforced to protect your toes during your run through nature. In addition, sweat vapor will have the opportunity to escape, but the shoe is protected from rain by the Gore-Tex® membrane.

Wear sole

The shoe has a Green Rubber outsole and is a durable type of rubber. The rubber consists of 25% recycled materials and lasts a long time, making the shoe extra durable.
