The Brooks Cascadia 16 GTX for men are trail running shoes. These popular, neutral trail shoes are light in weight and protect your feet during trail running. The updates to the shoe are mainly found in the mid and the outsole. The upper of this GTX version is made of GORE-TEX material. This material makes the shoes waterproof, thanks to which these GTX trainers will keep your feet dry during your runs in wet conditions.

The upper with Cordura Mud Guard is highly breathable and protects your feet from the dirt encountered on the way. The Monoloop mesh material is combined with the 3D Fit Print upper. Thanks to this the shoes are highly breathable and dry fast. The protector on the laces helps keep the laces in place.

The midsole of the Brooks Cascadia 16 features DNA LOFT v2, which makes the shoes lighter and softer than their predecessors. Two millimetres of extra foam was added to the midsole to provide you with some extra comfort. The midsole has individual studs that help provide adaptable grip on rough terrain. The Ballistic Rock Shield has vertical grooves that provide grip in when moving sideways.

The outsole of the shoes features the Pivot Post System. This system ensures more stability when running on unpaved terrain. The TrailTrack rubber in the outsole ensures excellent grip on dry as well as wet surfaces. The drainage openings allow water to find its way out of the shoes again. The Gusset keeps sand and small dirt at bay.
