ASICS Trabuco Max 2 Women

The Trabuco Max 2 is a neutral trail shoe. When running long distances, you want to waste as little energy as possible. That's why ASICS applied the GUIDESOLE technology to the Trabuco Max 2 trail shoe. The Trabuco Max 2 has a renewed midsole so that you can complete long trail runs with more comfort and less effort.

What are the updates? The biggest change is in the midsole, as it now consists of the resilient FF BLAST™ PLUS. This material feels more dynamic than FlyteFoam™ cushioning that was in the previous version. The sole has become a lot thicker than its predecessor and now provides maximum cushioning during your trail runs. The FF BLAST PLUS technology provides a softer landing and more response when taking off. That is nice if you are going to walk long distances on unpaved paths.

The shoe's Jacquard mesh upper is made from at least 50% recycled content to reduce waste and carbon emissions. The insole is also sustainably produced, as this sole is made with a dyeing process that reduces water consumption by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45%. The mesh upper creates a softer feel against the foot. The shoes have a high breathability, which keeps the feet cool while running. In addition, reflective details have been added to improve visibility in low-light conditions.

The innovative GUIDESOLE technology plays a central role in the model. This construction in the midsole encourages forward movement. At the same time, it reduces ankle rotation. Thanks to the reduced stress on the limbs from foot strike to toe off, this technology gives trail runners more potential to run further, as they will use less energy to cover the same distance.

ASICSGRIP™ technology has been added to the outsole. The compound of rubber in the outsole is functional for providing traction and improving durability. The ASICSGRIP™ outsole also incorporates a stud pattern for improved agility. In addition, the ORTOHOLITE™ sockliner provides soft step-in comfort. The design provides full ground contact resulting in a more comfortable run.
