Midsole

FF BLAST™ and FLYTEFOAM™ cushioning together form the foams for the midsole of this model. FF BLAST™ provides lightweight cushioning and responsive cushioning. The FLYTEFOAM™ provides the stability to the shoe that you need while running. In addition to the foam, ASICS' unique GEL™ technology will help absorb the impact of every step, making the landing softer. LITETRUSS™ technology provides extra support while walking. This technology comes in the form of a correction block on the inside of the shoe. This block ensures that your foot and ankle cannot collapse inward during the movement. Finally, the ORTHOLITE™ X-30 insole provides soft step-in comfort and long-lasting cushioning. The sole is made of open cells, which keeps your feet cool while running.

Upper

The open structure of the jacquard mesh upper increases the shoe's breathability, while the textured yarns allow sweat to escape. The shoe is also waterproof from the outside, ASICS's Gore-Tex® version of the GT-2000 ensures your feet are always dry and comfortable. Part of the upper is made from recycled materials, allowing ASICS to make its products more environmentally friendly.

Outsole

The outsole of the shoe is made from a combination of AHARPLUS™ and ASICS LITE™ rubber. AHARPLUS™ was used at the heel due to its great durability. A type of rubber that is wear-resistant and will therefore last a long time. ASICS LITE™ rubber is found under the midfoot and forefoot. This material is very light and also has reflective details.
