Midsole

With the FF BLAST™ PLUS ECO cushioning you experience optimal cushioning with every step you take. The FF BLAST™ PLUS ECO foam is lightweight and provides shock absorption and a responsive feel while running. Furthermore, at least 20% of the foam consists of recycled materials. In addition to the foam in the midsole, ASICS shoes offer enormous cushioning thanks to ASICS' unique gel technology: PureGEL™. This gel provides a high degree of comfort, partly due to the shock absorption that reduces the impact on your joints. Due to the gel implemented in the heel, you will experience nice cushioning during a heel landing. To top it all off, this shoe also has an ORTHOLITE™ X-55 insole. This insole offers soft entry comfort and thus provides long-lasting cushioning. ORTHOLITE™ X-55 has an open-cell foam which ensures that the shoe is breathable on the inside and keeps your feet cool.

Upper

The upper of the Gel Nimbus TR is made of lightweight mesh that wicks moisture away from your foot, keeping you dry and cool while walking. The mesh is partly made from recycled materials.

Outsole

The outsole of the shoe is made from a combination of AHARPLUS™ and ASICS LITE™ rubber. AHARPLUS™ was used at the heel due to its great durability. A type of rubber that is wear-resistant and will therefore last a long time. ASICS LITE™ rubber is found under the midfoot and forefoot. This material is very light and also has reflective details.
