Midsole

This model features FF BLAST™ cushioning. This foam is lightweight and provides you with resilient, energetic cushioning. In addition to the foam, GEL™ technology has been implemented in the midsole to soften the landing and improve shock absorption. Finally, the ORTHOLITE™ X-55 sockliner provides soft step-in comfort and long-lasting cushioning. The sole consists of open cells, which makes the sole breathable and ensures that your feet stay cool.

Upper

The upper of the GEL-NIMBUS TR is made of lightweight mesh that wicks moisture away from your foot, keeping you cool and dry while walking. The mesh is partly made from recycled materials.

Outsole

The outsole of the shoe is made from a combination of AHARPLUS™ and ASICS LITE™ rubber. AHARPLUS™ was used at the heel due to its great durability. A type of rubber that is wear-resistant and will therefore last a long time. ASICS LITE™ rubber is found under the midfoot and forefoot. This material is very light and also has reflective details.
