Midsole

This shoe has FF BLAST PLUS™ cushioning in the midsole. This foam makes the shoe a lot lighter and provides a shoe with a lot of energy return with every step you take. In addition to the foam in the midsole, ASICS has incorporated its unique gel technology PureGEL™ into this shoe. This gel provides a high degree of comfort, partly due to the shock absorption that reduces the impact on your joints. The gel will provide you with nice cushioning with every step you take during your run. Finally, the ORTHOLITE™ X-30 sockliner provides soft step-in comfort and long-lasting cushioning. The sole consists of open cells, which makes the sole breathable and ensures that your feet stay cool.

Upper

This shoe is highly breathable thanks to its jacquard mesh upper, which features textured yarns that allow sweat to escape and keep the inside dry. Because the mesh follows every step of the foot, it provides comfort and support. A large part of the upper is recycled, so ASICS strives, among other things, to make its products more sustainable.

Outsole

The outsole of this shoe consists of two parts. AHARPLUS™ is used under the heel. This material is three times as durable as a regular rubber outsole. AHARLO™ is used under the midfoot and forefoot. Due to its spongy structure, this outsole is twice as durable as regular rubber and weighs 50% less. This combination of technologies results in excellent grip and traction.
