Midsole

The Torin has the Standard FootShape™ fit. This fit gives the foot enough room to move naturally. The midsole consists of a thick layer of Altra EGO™ MAX. This luxurious, lightweight foam is specially designed to make your run as comfortable as possible, regardless of the distance. It is a relatively soft foam with good energy return. The Innerflex™ technology has been applied to the foam. This is a grid of slots that cut through the entire midsole, both vertically and horizontally. This reduces weight and dramatically increases the shoe's flexibility without sacrificing cushioning.

Upper

The Engineered Mesh upper provides flexibility and breathability in strategic places, while in other places the shoe is a bit tighter. The shoe is a bit tighter around the midfoot for a secure and supportive feeling. Featuring Altra's Fit4Her™ technology, the upper is designed to fit the specific shape of the female foot, which has a narrower heel and midfoot, a higher instep, a longer arch and a unique midfoot spacing.

Outsole
