Each Altra shoe is built on a Balanced Cushioned platform that positions the heel and forefoot equidistant from the ground, so with 0mm offset, or ZeroDrop™. Midsole

The Torin has a Standard FootShape™ fit, which does not restrict the movement of the foot, but still fits comfortably around the foot. The midsole consists of a thick layer of Altra EGO™ MAX. This luxurious, lightweight foam is specially designed to make your run as comfortable as possible, regardless of the distance. It is a relatively soft foam with good energy return. The Innerflex™ technology has been applied to the foam. This is the grid of slots that cut through the entire midsole, both vertically and horizontally. This makes the shoe lighter and more flexible without sacrificing cushioning.

Upper

The Engineered Mesh upper provides support in strategic places around the midfoot and has high breathability in the forefoot. This upper features Altra's Fit4Her™ technology, making it suitable for the unique shape of a female foot, with a narrower heel and midfoot, a higher instep, a longer arch and a unique metatarsal distance.

Outsole
