Each Altra shoe is built on a Balanced Cushioned platform that positions the heel and forefoot equidistant from the ground, so with 0mm offset, or ZeroDrop™. Whether you prefer maximum cushioning, low cushioning or something in between, Balanced Cushioning lets your feet move naturally with every step.

Midsole

With its Standard FootShape™ fit, the Timp offers enough space for the foot to move naturally. In the midsole you will find a thick layer of Altra EGO™ MAX. This luxurious, lightweight foam has been specially developed to make running as comfortable as possible. It is relatively soft and provides good energy return.

Upper

The quick-drying Quick Dry Air Mesh upper absorbs sweat from your feet and pushes it out to promote natural evaporation. This way your feet stay dry and comfortable. The GaiterTrap™ ensures that your Gaiters can easily be attached to the shoe, preventing sand and dirt from entering the shoe.
